Guest Curator & Arts Administrator

Mark Biletnikoff

Curator. Administrator. Community Builder.

About Mark

I hold a B.A. in Visual Art/Design from Southeastern Louisiana University, studied Color Theory, Drawing, and Studio at the Academy of Fine Art San Francisco, and completed dual master's degrees from Savannah College of Art and Design — an M.A. in Arts Administration and an M.A. in Preservation Design. That combination of studio practice, cultural stewardship, and administrative depth is not accidental. It is the foundation everything I do is built on.

With over a decade of experience across galleries, institutions, and community organizations, I leverage that background to drive initiatives that are as rigorous as they are human. I founded and directed The Art Angel Project — a community residency that opened real doors for artists who might otherwise never have had a platform — and the Farmstead Project, a preservation and conservation initiative rooted in place, memory, and collective stewardship.

Art is most powerful when it belongs to everyone.

What fuels my purpose is the direct, unmediated encounter with artists themselves — listening to them, observing their practice, experiencing the world through their eyes. Lifting their voices and talents is not a byproduct of the work; it is the work.
